The Germans are coming! We have to clean the houses and plan a menu and outings itinerary.... "here's some cows," "and here's some more cows..." exciting times... heh Oh, and we have to cut down the forest of trees that grew up in our yard while we were gone.... Pictures to follow, because it really is quite a sight....

And now, a shout out to Walter! "HEY! You rock, dude!!" See, my sister, Barb visited our house yesterday... she's in town from L.A. ...and, Walter was shooting a film in Germany for the past 2 months... and he brought home loads of Kinder Shokolade for ME!! the kids! Lots of different kinds.... Kinder duplo, Kinder country.... Kinder eggs.... ooooh, yummy! Thanks guys!

Yes, I am uber photo dork. heh. Kurt even had to buy another memory card for my camera while in Cardif, because I would just not have enough room for all the photos yet to be taken by day 9!

I've started the first installment from the first card which held 197 photos. I only put up 10% of them.... and that's enough for today!

Now to get back to laundry and putting a little something together for our wonderful hosts, our good friends, Roddy and Alison!

We're home!

FANTASTIC time!!! Bright, sunny weather (that we teased our friends about.... "oh sure, this is the best kept secret... Wales is always sunny and warm!!") hahaha

We've seen loads of castles, and sheep and pubs!! Woooh! Kurt and I are sportin' quite the little beer bellies now! hahahahah

Tired now.... but, loads of pics and stories to come!!!

It's go time!

We leave in 5 hours! Tomorrow we'll be lunching in London with good friends! I'm told by my phone company, that most likely my camera phone will not work in England... sigh. I'll try though..... If anything, I'll get a picture on the plane when we're on our way.... then it will be up on flickr!

I was sure it was lunchtime

Sheesh, and the kids seem extra annoying at 4:30am. There is no volume controll, it's either on or off. We've already been swimming for an hour, stopped at the post office where the 'hold mail' supplies were handily in the lobby for me, dropped off some supplies at the karate school, and then surely it's time to feed the wild ones lunch, eh? Nope, it's only 8:30. My tea is brewing... sigh.

More last minute things to buy and the ever ongoing process of closing up the household for 2 weeks....

So, I'm back to it!

Getting closer to Wales time

We're only 4 hours away from Welsh time now.... we've been adjusting our sleep/wake stuff. Here's hoping that I will be able to sleep on the plane now... heh. It's getting closer now! The puppy goes to Oma and Opa's house by the lake for a 2 week country-club like vacation. Grandma spoils her with steak for dinner.... oh brother! heh. Tabi loves it at their house!

Most of the packing for 4 is finished.... just sorting details around the house now!

What a crappy, horrible thing to happen in London today

...and we're arriving in London in 5 days..... sigh.

Idiot terrorists... they're all baking their heads in the hot sun too long and not getting laid enough....how about we all make love, not war...?

Ok, so it's a sophomoric, simplistic, flippant response there.... but, dang, there is some truth in it...

What a scary, awful time for those affected. And, now, we'll witness some of the aftermath firsthand.... sigh. Just shocking.

...but, back to packing anyways.
