We had about an hour before our Sunday flight, so Kurt drove me around Manhattan since I had never been there.

A wicked storm was brewing... thus the 3 hour delay sitting at the gate in La Guardia....

New York in a word.

Crowded.

Lots of people, buildings are crowded together, narrow streets... Chicago feels much more open. Buildings further apart, roads wider, less people, and yes, feels cleaner. Sorry New York, I still like Chicago better. It's over as of July '08... there are no more pages...

I've checked online at the Diddl.com US site, but alas, they just carry this same one. Sigh. Can anyone help us find this year's diary?!

Well, it's difficult for me to capture the true color... it really is a shade of green. A bit lighter than I was hoping for. Ah well, the other can for the other 2 walls is one shade darker. I'm pleased with the change.

Yes, the left curtain is shorter than the right panel. I'm over there ripping the hem next and re-sewing it. Right now!

Yes, I've been pretty absent over here. Calli tells me everyday to update the blog... blahg, schmahg. It's hot, we're all busy... nothing much to report.

Other than next week Kurt and I are flying to New York, driving through Manhattan... on a Friday evening. In rush hour. To go train over the bridge in New Jersey! Should be fun. Loads of mobile blogging then! Ok?!
