Christmas goodies!

Oooh, I love love my seltzer maker!

Now... I have to get used to the heavy iron taste of our well water... even though our tap water goes through the water softner.... it seems to me that the carbonation brings a bit of that "rusty" taste back out in my newly bubbled seltzer... hmmm....
But, a huge thanks to KD for the head's up on this nifty gadget!! Wheee! Yay, no more lugging home 2 liter bottles of expensive seltzer from the grocery store! Hooray!

Ummm... Seltzer water is about .94 per 2 liters, making 1 liter only 47 cents. How long does it take to create a one liter bottle? Including the time to drag the thing out onto the counter? How often will you have to make a special trip to the CO2 store to reload the tank? What does that cost? How long does that take?

My predicition: 2 months max, and you'll be back to buying "expensive" water, just throwing one or two bottles in the shopping cart since you're at the grocery store anyway...

:-) But it IS fun!

oh, and K: 50% of the water i drink i actually buy and the rest is homemade. it's still fun, after so many years (but as i told you: meitingen water is very good!)! =)
