We rewind to Karl announcing that his entire 8th grade class has been given their assignments now for the BIG project. This is the 8th grade finale. The one that's required to graduate from grammar school and move on to high school. It is a huge research project involving interviews from professionals in the field you choose, power point presentations, handout materials and a written report all neatly packaged for you to present in front of the panel of your 8th grade teachers by the end of the year!
So, one thing lead to another and Kurt and Karl came up with the idea to research a career in Media Arts and Science at the Flash Point Academy! As it turns out, they are having an open house tomorrow! So, Karl and I are taking the train downtown to go find out more info, perhaps do an interview, gather flyers and whatever else catches our fancy all so we have a jumping off point. He has spring break coming up and what better time than that to gather his thoughts and start putting this project together!
I'm set with my camera.... I'm looking forward to shooting the city sights!
