There's a reason I live out in the country, away from the Big City: People. Too many G&* D$%#@+ People.
Friday... I left work to go to my mom's latest art opening downtown. It's about a 35 mile travel distance, an hour or so drive time with ordinary traffic conditions.
It took me 3 1/2 hours to get there on a Friday evening due to... People. Too many G&* D$%#@& People!
I was in certifiable "wrung through the wringer" mode when I finally got there.
So... I stayed for about 20 minutes, took a few pictures...
....and drove home. Only took two hours to go home... a distance of about 50 miles..

Fridays are a nightmare to drive into the city....definitely 2+ hours from where I am....and 1.5 hours on other weeknights
