No gloom here, life doesn't get any better than this! I mean, consider the alternatives...
I think we've got to measure our lives more along dog's lives. They wag their tails EVERYDAY! They are always happy to see us, happy just to be with us, following us around, up the stairs and down again--even when they have no idea what in hell we're doing, going up and down all those stairs. They don't care. Life is good.
We all have our darker fears... consider today good when those fears DON'T come to pass. Enjoy what sands of time you find in your hands today, 'cause it's slipping away, it won't stop, won't even slow down.
It just doesn't get any better than this!
